      Dan is Mercer’s Director of M&A Retention Research. He was selected in 2016 to participate in Mercer’s prestigious Global Rotation Program. Over his 11-year career with the firm he has worked on the ground in the US, Europe and India. He has recently moved to Hong Kong, and has particular expertise consulting with global clients.

      M&A Transaction Services Leader – Asia Market
      Multinational Client Group Leader - Singapore

      Dhruv Mehra is a Principal and Mercer’s Asia M&A Transaction Services Leader based in Singapore, covering the ASEAN, Hong Kong, Taiwan and India markets. He has more almost 15 years of consulting experience focused on human capital issues, and has worked on a broad range of assignments, including cross-border M&A due diligence, post-merger integration, harmonization of employee compensation and benefits, workforce integration and cultural integration. Dhruv has advised both private equity as well as corporate clients in the US and Asia on various types of transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures and joint-ventures. He has worked on more than 200 transactions covering various sectors, such as manufacturing, financial services, insurance, retail, auto, healthcare, media, IT/telecommunication and pharmaceutical industries

      Phil Shirley
      Multinational Client Group Leader - Hong Kong

      Phil Shirley is a Partner at Mercer in Hong Kong and a regional M&A engagement manager covering Asia, Middle-east and Africa. In addition he acts as relationship manager to a number of major multinational clients in the region. Phil has worked on numerous due diligence and post-merger integration projects and is a regular speaker on related issues.  He advises large Asian companies on their cross-border transactions / global expansion and is leading Mercer’s intellectual capital development in this area.  Previously Phil led Mercer’s Greater China M&A business and Asian actuarial and retirement business.  He has 26 years’ experience of HR and M&A consulting, starting his career in 1990 in the UK and subsequently moving to Asia in 1996.
